Little People

Can you hear the little people in your head at night

Do you know the age of reason will soon die of fright

Can you hear the little girl crying on her bed

For soon all the animals in the jungle they’ll be dead

But the sun is sunny and the atmosphere is clear

But there’s something rather strange for nothing do you hear

But the lapping of the waters on a far and distant shore

And the body of the human race is lying on the floor

Scream winter winds let your reasons fly let the morning come

Let the morning come let the old man die

Scream winter winds from a far and distant shore

For the body of the human race is lying on the floor

Can you hear the little people in your head at night

Do you know the age of reason is dying of fright

Comfort the little girl lying on her bed

Are you one of the animals in the jungle that are dead

But the sun is sunny and the atmosphere is clear

But there’s something rather strange for nothing do you hear

But the lapping of the waters on a far and distant shore

And the body of the human race is lying on the floor

Sun so sunny the atmosphere so clear

But nothings rather strange when nothings all you hear

But the lapping of the waters on a far and distant shore

And the body of the human race is no more
